Land Restoration & Vegetation

One of the main advantages of becoming a member of the Upper Hopkins Land Management Group is that it enables access to funding for projects on your site.

If you have a Landcare project in mind, contact your Landcare Facilitator to discuss your ideas and complete a site planner. The site planner is a useful way to summarise the project and start working on the budget so that we can match the project with the right source of funding.
If you’re looking for ideas, take a look at some of the projects that have been funded in the past (https://upperhopkins.org.au/projects/). Many projects focus on tree-planting to create vegetation corridors or protect rivers and creeks, as well as fencing to exclude stock from riparian areas and wetlands. .
