Programs

Members of the Upper Hopkins Land Management Group have played a significant role in contributing to the control non-native species across our region. The group has had two major areas of focus: woody weeds (particularly gorse), and rabbits.

To ensure the success of the work that we undertake, we work closely with other stakeholders working on the control of these pest plants and animals. These other stakeholders include the Victorian Gorse Task Force, Glenelg Hopkins CMA, Ararat Rural City Council, DELWPProject Platypus and Western Weed Control.

The Group has a boom spray available for financial members to use for woody weed control.
